There are two types of components : 1.Health-Related Components and 2.Skill-Related Components.
Health related components:
The Five Health Related Exercise components are:- Muscular endurance
- Flexibility
- Cardiovascular fitness
- Muscular strength
- Body composition edit
Skill related components:
The Six Skill Related Fitness components are:- Power
- Reaction Time
- Balance
- Agility
- Speed
- Coordination

Gymnastic events require substantial joint flexibility, games such as badminton also need to be flexible. Various methods of stretching can increase flexibility.
Yoga is a popular activity to improve fitness.

On the field, power combines speed and strength. Explosive skills require power fitness, which involves exerting force with marked acceleration.
Olympic lifting and shotputting are examples that show a rapid rate of force development.

Muscular endurance enables muscles to be exercised repeatedly without getting tired, for example in activities such as running and swimming. Submaximal muscular endurance is the ability to
sustain low-intensity muscular contractions for a period of time.
High-intensity (strength) endurance reflects the ability to sustain high-intensity muscular contractions.
People need muscular endurance in their everyday life to complete daily chores.

For example, the time between the trigger being pulled, the gun firing and the athletes starting to run.
In a game of badminton or football the player has to react to each type of shot.
Reaction time can be improved by explosive exercise and sport-specific practice.

Cardiovascular fitness describes the efficiency of the heart, lungs and blood vessels to deliver oxygen to the working muscles so that you can keep working for a long time.
Cardiovascular is the most important is the most important aspect of Health Related Exercise. It allows people to follow a healthy, active lifestyle without getting too tired.
This is the fitness that is required to allow sportsmen and women to play long hard matches in football, rugby, netball, tennis and many other sports.

Balance can be static or dynamic. Static balance means that the athlete is not moving, such as when performing a handstand.
Dynamic balance means that the athlete maintains equilibrium while moving, such as in slalom ski events.

The definition used to be more simple--the ability to lift a maximum weight. The new definition reflects more specificity in the nature of a movement where strength is required.
When athletes make significant strength gains, muscles fibers (cells) gain size. Weightlifting requires considerable strength, but all sports also require some level of strength fitness.

Agility fitness combines power, strength, balance, flexibility, reaction time, coordination, anticipation, and muscular control. Agility is critical in any sport that requires rapid changes in direction, deceleration,

Body composition is influenced by genetics, although it can be improved by eating properly and engaging in physical activities are the most effective ways to enhance body composition. Height and weight are genetic.
Athletes work hard to achieve a good body composition for their sport.

Simply, it is the ability to move quickly, which is an essential quality in many sports. Reaction time is closely related to speed.
Speed includes:
Leg speed, eg. Usain Bolt
Hand speed, eg, boxer Joe Calzaghe
Speed of thought, eg, Tennis star Rafael Nadal.

Gross motor coordination means performing large muscle skills, such as running and jumping, with good technique, rhythm, and accuracy.
Many coaches have adopted Tudor Bompa's
